In addition to talking with you, we may suggest that we interview other team members. We want to gain a thorough understanding of your expectations for the role, how it fits into the organization more broadly, the culture of your enterprise, compensation frameworks, and other.

Sachar Solutions was recently retained by the National Coalition of Cancer Survivorship (NCCS) to lead five searches. The positions included a Development Director, Policy Director, Communications and Marketing Manager, Advocacy and Programs Manager, and Operations & Event Associate. The link here describes the candidates NCCS hired for the first four searches. 

Sally helped us fill five key positions, providing support including understanding our needs, helping us rethink how we work and define roles, writing the job descriptions, marketing the posts, screening candidates, developing and managing hiring exercises for candidates, and supporting the offer/negotiation process. She also designed and conducted a staff retreat to help us onboard the new staff members and ensure the entire team works together. She has been fantastic to work with and is truly a lifesaver and helped us navigate a challenging time for our organization. Having served as the former CEO, COO, Executive Director and Deputy Director of several non-profit and small business organizations focused on a range of missions, Sally has extensive experience leading searches for those organizations as well, at all levels of experience and responsibility.

Fees

We do not charge based on a percentage of the salary of the recruited candidate (an approach that is common with search firms). Rather, we set a fee based on the scope of the search. Unquestionably our fee will be substantially less than a traditional search firm would charge in part because we not link our fee to the projected salary, but also because my extensive experience with building and hiring teams allows me to screen candidates quickly and with a high degree of Organizational IQ.
